Vivek Agnihotri's numerous achievements as a filmmaker in Hindi films, dating back to 'Buddha in a Traffic Jam,' are growing by day by day. Who'd have expected the director of "Chocolate" and "Hate Story" would have such a change of heart, but as the saying goes, "it's never a good moment," and Vivek's situation is no different.

Vivek's most recent film, 'The Tashkent Files,' captured the attention of audiences all around the world. Three years ago, the picture was a surprising hit. In his latest film, 'The Kashmir Files,' Vivek has brought the DNA of the same film. He attempted to tell the truth about the killing of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri last time, but this time he has revealed the most critical problem in Kashmir.

Whatever comes your way will shake you from the inside out. Although some may argue that the film isn't technically brilliant, the film's magnificence is the reality. Even all the directors who came out of Kashmir lacked the bravery to convey the truth.

The film 'The Kashmir Files' is an effort to rewrite history by reversing those 'files' in which India is the narrative of the world's largest migration as a result of the country's horrendous killings. The Kashmiri Pandit group is likely the only one in the country that was expelled from their homes after independence, and there has been no movement in any region of this country with a population of crores.

Big leaders have been filling the power of the country being unified from Kashmir to Kanyakumari on a regular basis, and this defining characteristic of its state may make anybody embarrassed. Beginning 32 years ago, the film's plot opens with a pivotal event in which a major issue is addressed under the guise of cricket. The events in the Valley were traumatic.

On TV or screen, it's much more excruciating. This is a terrifying face that has to be seen by the entire world. In recounting the narrative, there was also the risk of it turning into a documentary, but one must play with the risks in order to deliver the truth to the public. And this kind of horrible risk has been taken by talented, brilliant director Vivek Agnihotri. Salute for his courage.

The Kashmir File movie story is about on the base of January 19, 1990, the worst chapter in Kashmir's history was written. Kashmiri Pandits were evicted from their houses. 'If you want to stay in Kashmir, Allahu Akbar Kehna Hai,' slogans were shouted on the streets.

The 19th of January, 1990, was a frigid morning. Other slogans rang out from Kashmir's mosques that day, in addition to the azaan. 'Yahan kya chalega, Nizam-e-Mustafa,' 'If you want to stay in Kashmir, Allahu Akbar kehna hai,' and 'Asi gachi Pakistan, batv roas ta batnev san,' all signify that we want Pakistan and Hindu women, but not their men. The Hindu Pandits in Kashmir received this message. For the last few months, he had been getting threats.

That day, hundreds of Hindu households felt anxious. In the name of Islam and Pakistan, arguments erupted on the streets. Hindus were the target of venomous attacks. That night was spent tying and tying and tying and tying and tying and tying and tying and tying Kashmiri Pandits opted to leave the valley after leaving their ancestral homes.

The Kashmir File - houses belonging to Hindus were demolished.

The first Pandits emerged from the valley that night. Thousands of families were forced to abandon the Valley in March and April, seeking sanctuary in other areas of India. The abandoned dwellings were burned to ashes over the next few months. Houses belonging to the Muslim population were meticulously demolished. In January 1990, the Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti estimated that there were 75,343 households in the Valley.

Between 1990 and 1992, almost 70,000 households departed the Valley. Between 1990 and 2011, terrorists are thought to have killed 399 Kashmiri Pandits. In the last 30 years, less than 800 Hindu households have remained in the valley.

Understandable if statistics can describe the suffering of Kashmiri Pandits. There were around one million Kashmiri Pandits at the turn of the twentieth century. As of now, there are less than 9,000. Kashmiri Hindus accounted for 15% of the population in 1941. By 1991, his share of the market had dropped to only 0.1 percent. When a community's population falls from one million to less than 10,000, only one thing comes to mind: called genocide.

The practice of assassinating Hindus began in 1989. First and foremost, Pandit Tika Lal Taplu was assassinated. In Srinagar, Taplu was publicly shot. He was a prominent Kashmiri Pandit leader. The terrorists of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front were accused, but no charges were ever brought against them.

A statement from Hizbul Mujahideen emerged in an Urdu newspaper published from Srinagar four months later, on January 4, 1990. Hindus were told they had to evacuate the valley. The valley's environment had deteriorated significantly at this point. There were several aggressive statements directed towards Hindus. They were threatened, which turned out to be a terrifying nightmare.

The Kashmir File - The clocks in Hindu homes began to display Pakistani time.

Hindus should leave Kashmir, according to posters on the walls. On Hindu homes, red circles were painted. Houses of Hindus were set on fire in numerous sections of Srinagar after that. Tilak was forced upon Hindu women. Rape incidents involving him had become commonplace. Miscreants would enter any house and plunder and commit crimes, according to Kalashnikov (AK-47). The clocks were adjusted to Pakistan Standard Time (PST). The local government had come to a halt.

Pandits from Kashmir are still not secure in the valley today.

Many attempts have been made in the previous 31 years to re-establish Kashmiri Pandits in the valley, but the outcome has remained the same. After 92, things got a lot worse. Hindus are also aware that the valley has changed. When India's government eliminated Jammu and Kashmir's special status on August 5, 2019, Kashmiri Pandits were overjoyed. However, there is still a strong desire for him to return.

Whose administration was in power during the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits?

Farooq Abdullah was the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir at the time of the attacks on Pandits, and Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was the country's Home Minister at the time of the evacuation of Pandits from the Valley.
