    She was picked to India's team for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 event in the West Indies in October of 2018.

    Raj announced his retirement from T20I cricket in September 2019. By 2021, she hopes to bring the World Cup to her nation. "After representing India in T20 internationals since 2006, I have decided to retire from T20Is in order to focus my energy on preparing for the 2021 one-day World Cup," she said in a statement released by the BCCI.

    Raj was nominated for the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Award for ICC Female Cricketer of the Decade, as well as the award for women's ODI cricketer of the decade, in November 2020.
